Prescription Assistance Programs

Are you unable to afford your asthma medications? A list of prescription assistance programs by the major pharmaceutical companies.

American Society of Health-System Pharmacists

This organization houses a list of asthma medication assistance for indigent patients.  The list is organized by drug name and manufacturer. The information is current as of July 21, 2003.

Partnership for Prescription Assistance

The Partnership for Prescription Assistance helps qualifying patients who lack prescription coverage get the medicines they need through the public or private program that’s right for them.

The Pharmaceutical Researchers and Manufacturers Association (PhRMA) Publishes a "Directory of Prescription Drug Indigent Programs" that lists programs through which drug manufacturers offer medications to people who are unable to pay for them. Go to:
